David and Sonia Molloy began the company as owner/operators in 1985 putting on their first spray unit, a J1 Bedford. At the time David had ambitions to own a high clearance self-propelled sprayer. Today Molloy Agriculture Limited offers an experienced team of 30, including seasonal staff and the company owns and operates nine Bateman sprayers along with seven 4WD truck units.
David is proud of his team and understands people are vital to the continued growth of the business. He plays a key role as Managing Director focusing on growth opportunities for the business and ensuring a quality focus within the company. David has a great deal of respect for their customers, many of whom have supported Molloy Agriculture Limited since the early days. Sonia is also a shareholder of the company sharing David’s focus on quality service.
As of July 2018, Gregor Robertson became a shareholder of the company. Gregor joined Molloy Agriculture Limited in 2009 to operate one of our self-propelled sprayers and after 4 years as an operator Gregor made the switch in the company to become an Agronomist.
David and Gregor both share a passion for farming which drives them to improve and extend the services they provide.

David and Sonia Molloy began the company as owner operators in 1985. David plays a key role as Managing Director focusing on growth opportunities for the business. Sonia is also a Shareholder of the company sharing David’s focus on quality service.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
General Manager
Henry joined Molloy Agriculture in September 2022 as the Company’s General Manager and will be handling the day to day management of the business. Henry comes from an extensive background in rural retail sales as well as broad agribusiness technical experience. In most recent years, Henry worked for Farmlands Co-op leading the dairy, arable, fuel and nutrition team in Central and Mid/South Canterbury.
Office Manager
Paula joined Molloy Agriculture in June 2022 as our Office Manager and ensures the smooth running of the company’s office administration procedures. Paula comes with an extensive background in administration, finance and office support roles. At the end of 2022 Paula completed a Diploma in Business Management. Paula is responsible for the company’s accounts payables & receivables, company financial reports, IT systems & software, as well as the administration of our Bateman parts inventory system.
Director
HR & Payroll
Emily joined Molloy Agriculture in 2015 and comes from a background working in law firms.
Emily is primarily responsible for the company's payroll system and HR department, including keeping the company up to date and compliant with NZ Immigration for the recruitment of overseas staff. Emily is also responsible for the company's health & safety management system, marketing platforms and company events.
She is currently working towards completing her Legal Executive Diploma.
Agronomy Manager
Gregor joined Molloy Agriculture in 2009 after immigrating from Dumfries & Galloway in Scotland. Gregor came with a strong agricultural background and extensive experience as a Chemical Applicator enabling him to move into the role of Agronomist and now oversees our Agronomy and Chemical Supply Division. Gregor became a shareholder of the company in July 2018.
Chemical Manager
Stephen joined Molloy Agriculture in January 2022 and ensures the smooth running of the company’s chemical supply division. Stephen completed his Farm Management Certificate through Lincoln University in the early days and now comes with an extensive background and knowledge of Business and Agriculture. Stephen is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in the chemical supply industry.
Truck Dispatch Manager
Colin Woolsey joined Molloy Agriculture Limited in 2017 as Truck Dispatch Manager and ensures the smooth running of the company’s Spray Trucks as well as relief Truck driving when required.
Truck Dispatch Manager
Aaron joined Molloy Agriculture in September 2017 as an Agriculture Sprayer Operator and has progressed throughout the company to his current position as Truck Dispatch Manager. Aaron has extensive knowledge within the application industry with over 20+ years’ experience and will be ensuring the efficient running of the company Spray Trucks as well as relief driving when required.
Bateman Dispatch Manager
James joined Molloy Agriculture in 2021 as an Agriculture Sprayer Operator and has recently progressed throughout the company to join our Management team as Bateman Dispatch Manager. James has over 10 years of application experience and will be ensuring the efficient and smooth operations of the company’s Bateman self-propelled sprayers.
Product Manager
David Mangin joined Molloy Agriculture Limited in 2002 as an applicator and has progressed throughout the company to his current position as Product Manager. David is responsible for the manufacturing, sales and delivery of Ravensdown Flowfert Products, Ag Recovery operations as well as our Bateman servicing and parts department.

David Mangin joined Molloy Agriculture Limited in 2002 as an applicator and has progressed throughout the company to his current position as Product Manager. David is responsible for the manufacturing, sales and delivery of Flowfert Products, as well as coordinating our AgRecovery and Plasback operations.
