Business relationships play a very important role....from contractor to client, pig farmer to cropping farmer, dairy farmer to grazier...to have a successful business you must grow solid and respected relationships...without these relationships business's just won't work.

There was a certain Aussie while in Ashburton last week attempted to steal a car just like their own.
The moral of the story is to check it is your car before beeping the keys and then ring someone as a last resort. Once someone else knows the jokes can start.
Cheers Vic

All spray trucks parked up...never a good look!
Mt Hutt on held...unhappy skiers/snowbroaders
Farmers working in the wind...grumpy at the end of the day
Have a drink...sometimes it helps!

Our focus on numbers - from exam results, profit and loss reports, sport scores, and even the old bathroom scales.....always aiming to achieve high figures.....other than the bathroom scales of course!!!
Numbers...sometime we love them and other times we don't want to look!

While away on holiday I brought a pair of Icebreaker socks, they come with a barcode where I could trace the origin of the wool. In this case Banks Peninsula.
Imagine if all our produce (wheat, milk, meat, potatoes) was able to be traced back to the farm of origin.
Have a good weekend.

Hi. I am back from my small break down south. Another town gives us a whole new set of experiences. The skiing was great and I even saw the sun.
Back to work now.

Has this happened in your house.....
Farmer (to wife): 'Why can't you make bread like my mother?'
Wife: 'Why can't you make dough like my father?'
Says it all really!!

As we work in the cold our thoughts drift off to the beach and sand of far away places. I'm sure somewhere in the world it is too hot.
Have a good weekend, Go the all Blacks.
Off to Quenstown for a few days, back Thursday
